7th NECDBS in Shillong: A Celebration of Vision, Excellence, and Faith

The hill city of Shillong became a vibrant hub of faith, intellect, and fraternity as over 240 principals and educational leaders from 11 Salesian provinces across South Asia gathered for the 7th National Educational Conference of Don Bosco Schools (NECDBS 2025). Hosted by St. Anthony's Higher Secondary School, Shillong, from 6–8 November 2025, and themed "Educational Excellence in the Spirit of Don Bosco," the landmark event was a resounding celebration of Don Bosco's enduring educational mission — to form "good Christians and honest citizens."
Salesians of South Asia Gather for Youth Ministry Meeting in Siliguri

The Regional Meeting of Youth Ministry Delegates of South Asia, along with sector and network heads, was held at Salesian College, Siliguri Campus, from October 31 to November 4. The gathering brought together Salesian Youth Ministry Delegates and leaders from across South Asia for a time of reflection, communion, and collaboration in their shared mission of accompanying young people.

‘Love’ is a much-used word when speaking about teacher-pupil relationships, and yet it is usually glossed over, and often dismissed as a pious platitude.
